The gal that manages this guest house is without question the best in all my travels! I came to Penang and found Cheah to be beyond knowledgeable with travel information!

Unique building and great location. Old wooden building with really cool decorations. A unique experience. Host is amazing and goes above and beyond expectations for service. She is super helpful and cheerful. Location is walking distance to pretty much everything nearby. Highly Recommend.

Oh man, we had a great stay here! The host, Cheah, was warm and informative! Our room was great. Clean and comfortable, hot shower. Bed was good for SE Asian standards. Some reviews talk of loud noise and the host warns you, but it wasn't super loud and we slept good. I would stay here again!

The room is clean n tidy with ceiling fan n aircon, the bed is soft and comfortable. There's also a small table lamp which you can charge handphones. ( too bad i've forgotten to take picture of it) Just remember to bring your own wire.

Cheah, the host is absolutely fantastic. She went out of her way to tell us about all the major attractions and food to sample. She took good care of us during our stay. She did our laundry and provided us with fresh towels midway during our stay. She answered all our questions promptly and was really the main reason why we loved our stay in Penang. Cheah’s place was so comfortable and cozy. We loved its location; close to everything we needed. The property itself was well taken care of by Cheah and all the rooms were clean. Even though we had a shared bathroom, it felt like a private bathroom as there are two showers and two toilets for four rooms to share. Some rooms have private bathrooms as well. There is filtered water, plates, cups and cutlery to use. You can also store some items in a communal fridge. We loved the AC and ceiling fan in our room. The property felt very safe and secure. The decor felt authentic. We absolutely loved our stay.
