The 6-acre Makunudu Island is a tropical beachfront getaway, steps from spectacular dove spots. It features a diving school that provides PADI courses and a water sports center offering non-motorized activities. Guests can visit the spa for relaxing massages, or sign up for an excursion to nearby islands and fishing villages. Makunudu Island also has a library as well as volleyball and badminton facilities. In a Traditional Maldivian Style the bungalow has an attached open air private garden bathroom. It is equipped with mini-bar, tea/coffee facilities and work desk. Guests can have an early breakfast on the beach while watching the sunrise. Ara Iru Restaurant serves international dishes and seafood specialties. Wines and liquors can be enjoyed at Sand Bar. Complimentary 2GB wifi per person will be provided to all guests upon arrival. Makunudu Island is a 50-minute speedboat ride from Male International Airport.

Fantastic beach bungalow with terrace, surrounded by palms and with amazing access to the ocean. Very good location for snorkling, swimming and diving. The beauty of the ocean unforgettable. Friendly and helpful staff.
The staff is super friendly, food is delicious and nature is astounding. House reef is rich and there is a lot to see when snorkeling.

It is such a beautiful little island with tons of natural vegetation and beautiful reef with lots of fish turtles and reef and nursery sharks. Additionally they organize snorkel dive tours to near by islands. Beautiful beaches and authentic little huts with each having private beach attached to them( if you can request hut 18 or 17 :)). Food was so yummy, not your typical buffet but a la carte to choose from for lunch and dinner and plenty of options. Courteous staff and super smiley. Yummy drinks in sunset bar. We also did massage. It’s super authentic not like big 5 stars and that’s the most charming thing about it. Feels like a proper Robinson cruso island. It doesn’t have pool but we did snorkel all day long and tanned, so that was great for us. Would highly highly recommend it. We will be back. Thank you for our amazing stay of 7 days.
