The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives is a unique blend of relaxation, socializing, and adventure, perfect for a romantic escape, a getaway with friends, or a family vacation. Each of our 115 villas, some overwater or settled on the beachfront, has its own private lounge deck and plunge pool. Spend your days exploring the natural beauty of the island, with activities like snorkeling in our protected house reef, boating, deep diving, and more. Relax and refresh with luxe spa treatments at The Standard Spa, complete with a communal hammam, aroma steam room, yoga schedule, and nine private treatment rooms. From morning to evening, nourish and refuel at a variety of dining options, from our all-day dining spot Kula to our beachside BBQ Shak or our authentic Maldivian overwater restaurant Guduguda. Then end the night in our overwater glass-floored nightclub Beru Bar where we host karaoke, movie nights, cocktail-mixing classes, and more. All villas are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, disco bathtub, activity wall with snorkeling gear, signature lightweight bathrobes, mini-bar, a Dallmyr espresso machine, universal charging sockets, USB ports, and an electronic safe. Complimentary toiletries including shampoo & conditioner, body wash, and dental and shaving kits are provided. All meal plans include buffet-style meals in our main restaurant Kula. For any All-Inclusive bookings, dine-around is included at Guduguda or BBQ Shak, reservation is required. The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives is a 35-minute seaplane journey from Male International Airport(additional charges apply for all transfers). We will need all guest flight details, both arrival, and departure, at least 4 days before arrival to arrange transfers accordingly.

Saying that our stay here was incredible is an understatement.
We stayed here 10 days for our anniversary, and the hospitality here we saw from everyone was really professional and very friendly.
A shout-out and a very special thanks to Poula who made sure that our every request was fulfilled. He was our friend here on the island and made sure that our stay was exceptional.
The best thing about this hotel is the lagoon view from the villa, and what an incredible view it is. No pictures you will see online will ever do it justice. It was simply breathtaking, and the sea life we saw in the lagoon and at the island's reef was abundant.
Property, ocean, restaurant, staff, especially Poula the host .. everything were amazing 🤍 Fist time in maldives and not gonna be the last because of this amazing resort.

From the pickup at the airport to the drop off at the airport the Standard staff were friendly and available at all times to answer any questions.
Zainu, my host, was always reachable and gave me daily updates with the activities available.
My over the lagoon bungalow was spacious, with sun on the private deck/pool. It was nice to be able to get into the lagoon directly from my deck.
I took 3 Zumba classes with Mikey (2 on land and 1 in the pool). This was my favourite of all the activities I did. Mikey is a great instructor; his class was not only the best workout I had in months but also the most fun (I typically workout 4-5 times a week, so that is saying something!). I left each class feeling good and in a better mood than when I walked into the class.
I enjoyed the snorkelling excursions, the night snorkelling was an especially neat experience.
First of all, the sea was incredibly beautiful, with crystal-clear water that was perfect for snorkeling. Our villa provided more privacy, and the pool was just perfect (we stayed in the lagoon-side beach villa, which offers more privacy compared to the ocean-side villas that have less privacy but are closer to the sea and more ideal for snorkeling). The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was wonderfully spacious. The food was delicious and offered a great variety. The hotel is also child-friendly. We really enjoyed the activities, especially the sunset fishing, which was a lot of fun, and we caught plenty of fish. The staff was exceptionally helpful, making our stay worry-free! We appreciated how well-organized our departure from the hotel was, with assistance all the way to check-in at the airport. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
