The inner courtyard garden was a great break from the busyness of the city. Laundry facilities were two doors down from our room. Very clean and everything worked well.

In comparison to 11 other hotel/motels we stayed in, this was by far one of our favourites. It was cheaper than others, but the quality of the furnishings made the room feel luxurious and more like a 5-star. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we loved the heat floor tiles in the bathroom and kitchenette.

The rooms were very spacious, it’s a quirky property tucked away inconspicuously in a fairly nondescript area of Dunedin but it even has a little enclosed garden and is very quiet. All the rooms surround the garden. We had one with disabled access which worked well and of all the places we stayed on our road trip these rooms were easily the most spacious. There are tea and coffee making facilities and we had a lovely breakfast at the Good Earth cafe which is very close by.

Very nicely appointed rooms with comfortable bed, nice linens, and great shower. Also nice outdoor garden area.
