The hotel is fun. The rooms were above average. Beds were wonderful. Restaurants were nice. The gym was lovely.
Nice old hotel in David.
The pool is great; that is pretty much why we stay at this hotel whenever we are in David. It is good sized, clean and never very busy.
The gardens around the pool are lovely, too.
Breakfast is included and with several options.
Will always recommend Gran Hotel Nacional to friends visiting David.
It was a classic hotel from the early twentieth century. Reasonably kept up.
The free breakfast was outstanding--great selection and service! We also ate at the restaurant for supper and the meal was amazing! The room was nice--felt a bit older style, but I like the nostalgic feel. I was grateful for the free parking! The location is ideal! I had to visit a national office and it was only about 3 blocks from the hotel. There's nearby shopping, a plus. Also, we had a very good night's sleep...the beds were comfortable, the AC took a short while to cool, but ultimately was perfect, there was little to no noise. The staff is amazing--so kind and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.
