Ideal location, a two-minute walk from the train station in one direction and the main square in another. Room was clean and comfortable, with modern amenities. The included breakfast was excellent and the staff kindly packed a sandwich for us when we went to the beach. We reserved a room that had a balcony with a view and were glad we did. It was delightful to sit on the balcony at the end of the day and see distant hills, as well as the Santa Luzia church that overlooks the city. We recommend the Sancho Panza restaurant in the main square, as well as the spectacular Cabedelo beach for wind surfing or just relaxing on an uncrowded, beautiful beach. In the evenings we enjoyed the International folkdance festival that happened to be hosted by the town while we were there in July.
