Beautiful property, great location. The owner made you feel so welcome. Made to order breakfast, truffles at bedtime with water in the room. Very thoughtful. I would highly recommend this place.

The hotel is a completely rebuilt old structure in the heart of old Porto. Everything is modern, but the feel is still of a palace from two centuries ago. The staff, especially Marco, are incredibly helpful. Breakfasts are excellent. And the rooms are quiet and light proof -- easy to get a good night's sleep.

Beautiful, historic building with carefully curated antique decor. Fully updated infrastructure (great plumbing, etc.). Family-run, with warm staff who will give you personal attention and help you customize your visit. Delicious breakfast (especially the homemade bread and jam). We had a huge, comfy king-sized bed and window overlooking the garden, with a 17c painted tile wall. Ideal location, in the middle of the historic area, but completely quiet (our room was in the rear). We would definitely stay there again!

We loved everything about this B and B and loved the breakfast which we selected each evening before. Everything was made fresh to order and served in the lovely dining room. The staff is wonderful and gave us ideas on places to see and places to eat. The lobby was so beautiful with the holiday decorations and fireplace which we appreciated on chilly evenings. I LOVE this place!
