The building and gardens are spectacular. So charming and historical. The architecture of this palace is stunning with such interesting woodwork and azulejo tile. The staff was friendly and helpful. One staff member showed us around and told us about the history of the hotel. There is no AC, so they brought us a fan and it was comfortable at night with the window open and the fan on. We enjoyed walking through the gardens and having a drink in the bar. Breakfast had several different selections.
The location of course and the property is awesome esp the hiking trails to Cruz Alta and the fountains. Beautiful palace well maintained. Staff were great too.
Loved the grounds, trails and setting. The Palace was amazing and beautiful and it was such throwback feel.
The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We had two wonderful meals at the hotel-dinner and breakfast. The staff was welcoming and always attentive and pleasant.
Gorgeous palace. Several hiking trails in the forest. Excellent staff. Very nice breakfast buffet. Free parking
