The owner was so welcoming, I've stayed at alot of places and this was by far one of my favorite experiences, an upgrade on arrival and late check out without charge ... the lady (I can't remember her name ) was so hospitable and I will be back for sure. Amazing views and amazing walm service .. cannot complain... you must stay here

A tranquil retreat to connect with nature away from the touristy areas of Portugal and only a 1.5 hour drive from Algarve. We stayed in a lake view room with a balcony that allowed us to see stunning sunrises and flocks of birds. It was so relaxing to cool off on the balcony at night and in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset view from the pool while swimming and/ or laying on a laying chair sipping on a cold beer. The hotel is surrounded by a charming garden where we were allowed to pick fruits from the trees. There is also a convenient and safe lake pool to swim in the pure lake water. We enjoyed the bountiful and delish breakfast on one of the terraces overlooking the lake. This would be an ideal place for writers and those looking to disconnect from daily life stressors and disruptions. Madelyn was a friendly, welcoming, responsive and accommodating host .
