Peacefull, secluded place for weekend getaway
Tasty food
The castel is near the Bega canal and the old catholic church from Ecka, and has a big and nice park. Also, you can get to Ecka from Zrenjanin by bike on the lane, as I did.
Lovely architecture, spacious rooms. An intimacy that you rarely get in new hotels. Old historical vibe. Very good noodle soup.
Great, quiet location, full of history. The pool, where we spent most of our time, was clean and not crowded at all. Every staff member we met was extremely helpful and polite. Overall a great place to recharge :)
As a seasoned traveller who’s learnt to be put off by ratings the Kassel ticked all the boxes! Not 5 star but the quaint rooms, excellent staff, fine food made us extend our stay by an extra two days.
