Helpful staff, plenty of facilities for a longer stay.

I stayed in the single budget room, which was small but cozy and provided a good rest. The room contained everything to accommodate your stay in the most comfortable fashion. It felt almost like home.

A very hospitable family team, manage this hostel and the atmosphere is calm as a consequence.

Very happy with my second stay at Smart. Was provided with the same room, which has good storage and wardrobes, unlike some other hostels where you have to find a spot to put your bags. The staff were helpful in assisting me with washing a very heavy coat, and no officious rule was applied in hanging it on the balcony. I have had previous problems with hostels being over precious about their rules and you leave with a feeling of relief, akin to your final day at school! There are enough sensible rules applied here, to permit a comfortable stay, for above a week, as a digital nomad or traveller.

Friendly staff, nothing was a drama. I arrived at very short notice after an emergency on arrival from Sydney (loss of planned accomodation - my romantic liaison ghosted me) and was made to feel at home immediately. I'll be staying here a fortnight now, that's how much I like the place. They have snacks and cold drinks available at a fixed price on an "honour jar" system, which says a lot about the type of people here.
