Close to the action of center city but not so close that you had to deal with the congestion or noise from crowds. Plenty of nearby places to grab a meal or groceries.
Very central, good access to trains/trams and buses. Only 25 mins walk to Royal mile😀
The location was literally a stroll away from downtown and the Edinburgh Castle. Lots of good eateries in the neighbourhood, from quick takeout to fine dining. Tesco Express was also about 3 minutes walk. We enjoyed the cosiness of the crib and the host was not only very responsive but also did many little extras such as stocking up the refrigerator with fresh milk and cereals and coffee/teas which made the entire experience wonderful.
The location was perfect - 8min away from Haymarket and a pleasant 20min stroll to the Royal Mile. A Tesco and a Sainsbury’s are also close by which is very handy.
The area is very quiet and the property is really great. It is well maintained and equipped to make you feel at home. The sofa was comfortable and the flat in general was very welcoming. Loved the book with instructions, answering all the questions you may have.
Stunning, spacious apartment in a brilliant location!
The kitchen had everything we could need, and it was an added bonus being left with breakfast bits being left, as well as teas coffees etc.
There are so many lovely touches everywhere and things left to give you everything you might need during your stay, the host really does go above and beyond.
The living/dinning room is much bigger than we were expecting, and it was lovely to walk in and find the table already laid ready.
Bed and sofa bed are really, really comfortable!
Absolute gem, just a few minutes walk from Haymarket station.
