A beautiful little cottage in the heart of the village, with everything you could need to make your stay very comfortable. We were moving into our new house in a local village and the cottage was a very welcome place to come home to after a few very stressful days.

I was staying at Abbey Green Cottage for 3 nights from the 28th of March to the 31st of March. My husband booked the Cottage for me and a friend. We were attending a music weekend run by The Firelight Trio at Shambellie House. New Abbey was ideal as a base. The cottage was within walking distance of the venue. Everything in the cottage was well presented, and the beds were very comfortable. The village is very nice however the shop closes at 16:30, the tea room. At 16:00 and the Abbey Tavern only opens at the owners discretion. We were having lunch and dinner at the venue. Otherwise, we would have to travel by car for a pub or restaurant. . I would use the cottage again if there is another music weekend.
