Edinburgh Castle, which sits high over the old city, can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. The striking Royal Mile is also a short walk away, and Edinburgh Waverly Rail Station is a 10-minute stroll from the building.

Meryam and Azad were kind, thoughtful hosts who ensured our stay was comfortable.
It's outside of the tourist area which is a great benefit. After a day of the crowded downtown it's very nice to get back to a quiet neighborhood with local restaurants nearby. I highly recommend going to Saint Mary's coffee shop when they open at 8:30, only a few blocks away for a good and fairly priced breakfast. Quiet, wi-fi, good food, nice staff and a good cause. In the other direction from Atlas Guest House are the Botanical Gardens - also a fine place for a respite from the more touristic areas.
The decor was great. The quality of the mattresses was great ,slept like a baby. No noise whatsoever. The hosts were brilliant. They also had stored our bags when we checked in early and checked out too.
This is a beautiful old property, lovingly maintained by the current owners. Our host is really lovely and really well to make sure that your needs are met. It’s just perfect. I would absolutely stay here again !
Fantastic location; you can easily reach tourist attractions. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Big thanks to Maryam & Ajaz, they’re so kind and welcoming. The price/value is excellent, especially in Edinburgh.
