Magnificent building set in its own grounds. Over the road was a lovely big park. Great location and the village itself was only a very short walk away with pubs and restaurants and a co-op. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us.
One night stay to visit friends who live near by. No meals taken. Room was comfortable & clean. Bathroom a little outdated but spotless with nice toiletries. Building & grounds beautiful.
Lovely old property.nice spa and swimming pool area,breakfast was good with good choice of food.
The room was well appointed, the food was excellent and varied and the staff were very pleasant . It was nice to speak to staff actually sounded like they enjoyed what they were doing. I will look here the next time I need to stay in the area.
The grounds and the exterior of the building are so beautiful...also the bar area and seating areas are gorgeous with chesterfields everywhere and wooden panelling....
