Lovely, accommodating and helpful staff. Nice hotel and good location
Friendly staff in a traditional pub environment. the rooms were clean and well kept, the building exterior wonderfully unrestored. An early Norman church next door provides opportunity for gravespotting. Bed was comfortable & good breakfast.
Staff were really helpful and allowed us to store our kayak in a private courtyard overnight prior to the DW Race. We ate dinner in the hotel and the food was excellent. Young lady working both behind reception and in the bar was outstanding and very helpful.
The staff were EXCEPTIONAL - a particular shout out to Dave, our evening barman who accommodated a large group and all the breakfast crew.
Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Rooms were better than other hotels in the town.
