Really well set up, and much more comfortable than a hotel. We also enjoyed being within easy reach of city centre while still being in a quieter, less touristy part of town. It was the perfect base for exploring Edinburgh!

The property has a well appointed kitchen and is near a large park. We liked being a short bit out of the city center to get away from the crowds. Plenty of public transport nearby made getting to/from Edinburgh easy. My kids also loved having a game system (PS3) to play on!

Clean and compact accomodation. Tastefully furnished. Well equiped kitchen. Quiet setting yet very accessible. Will be even better once the new tramline is in!

The cottage is lovely, and obviously very well taken care of. The furnishings were all very comfortable, and the rooms are very bright and welcoming. The road is very quiet, and the location is perfect for exploring Leith and the surrounding areas. The communication with Daniela and her team was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking the cottage again!

I would love to go back. This is a ground floor flat in a city, but honestly felt like a little cottage in the country. Beautifully decorated and a very cosy feel to it. Little front garden meant the property sat back a bit from the road. My dog absolutely loved the park (Leith Links, which you should google for its interesting history) which was literally around the corner, and we loved how close we were to Leith Walk (walking distance), with lots of restaurants and bars and even closer to us was a tesco superstore and lots of takeaway restaurants within a short distance. Parking on the street wasn't impossible, and I did manage most evenings but be aware that it is an extremely narrow street, and if I had a big car I wouldn't have attempted it. However, there was plenty of parking around Leith Links, so it was never a hardship. My only downside with the property was the tiny washbasins, but that's fairly insignificant and didn't detract from out stay.
