Great location on the main road into Bowness, a 10 minute walk to all of the facilities such as boat cruises, good restaurants and good pubs. Good breakfast and nice staff.
The hotel is in very good order, it has been refurbished and is in lovely condition, the rooms are quite small, but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the housekeeping staff were great.
The staff on the reception/bar are nice and pleasant to deal with, but the hotel is missing a few tricks (see below) and although I'm in no position to tell anyone how to run a hotel there are few elements that could make it good to great!
A lovely relaxing break! Lovely modern ground floor reception area/breakfast room and deck outside with a wonderful view.
The gym was big enough for a good work out and had a good range of equipment, adding a TRX might be a good addition please.
Everything was comfortable and clean. The location was nicely accessible to restaurants.
