Located on the A170 between Helmsley and Pickering, the George and Dragon Inn is in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It offers full English breakfasts, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Originally a 17th-century coaching inn, its rooms are spacious and come with a TV. Each also has facilities for making tea and coffee, and an private bathroom with a hairdryer. The George and Dragon serves traditional pub food and real ales. Guests can dine in the bistro and fine-dining restaurant, and relax in the garden. Kirkbymoorside is an old market town with a partially cobbled main street. Scarborough and Whitby are both less than 25 miles from the building. Please note that not all of our rooms are dog-friendly. Please ring to check before booking.

The accomodation was really clean and comfortable. lovely and warm beautiful view from our window breakfast was amazing lovely staff will definitely be returning
Room was very clean and big (room 6 junior suite) the bar and restaurant was good. The food was very good, large portions and good value. All the staff we had contact with were friendly and professional. Large car park. The bar closes around 9:30 so no problem with noise. We've stayed here several years ago and it seems to have been well maintained.
A spotlessly clean and very comfortable room in a nice location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and in huge proportions. Ample parking at the rear. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
Our room was located in a separate building behind the pub. the room was spacious and clean with 2 windows so lots of natural light very cozy and had a lovely en suite
Very friendly staff ...Although the room was a bit dated it was a Large room with a big shower. Great water pressure even though we were on the third floor. Comfortable beds,had 2 great nights sleep. Breakfast was very good . Also Sunday Lunch in the restaurant. Will definitely return.
