Hickman Hill Hotel, Гейнсборо, Соединенное Королевство

The location was good but there was traffic sounds(to be expected where the hotel is located) which we aren't used to as we live out in the country but it wasn't a problem. The gardens were lovely. the staff charming. We checked out too early for breakfast so cannot comment but our supper (served in the garden) was delicious and freshly prepared. The hosts were helpful and friendly and the hotel nicely decorated and very clean.

Comfortable rooms with lovely linens. The gardens are a wonderful place to sit and relax. The food was superb, braised beef wrapped in prosciutto (it works) for one of us, duck done two ways for another, excellent sides, good wine choices available. One cannot ask for more.
