The closeness to the town centre and minister.
The fact that even though it was close to a busy road it was surprisingly quiet.
It was a well equipped room with everything I needed . There was even an ironing board and iron in the shared area.
Fantastic location, clean and had everything you needed, friendly communication with owner on chat and all questions answered.

Not a hotel as much as an airbnb type place but that was totally fine. Accessed my room key by a lockbox on the entry door, super easy. Awesome location just a stones throw from one of the city’s famous gates, leading to a pedestrian street bringing you straight to the Minster. My room was small but cozy and exactly what I wanted for a couple days in York. Lots of restaurants everywhere.
