Comfy bed. Easy check in. Electric sockets near the bed. I ate downstairs and food was good, with service pretty quick, even though it was busy.
Was travelling down south for a group meeting and wanted to stay somewhere along route. Was looking for something with a little more personality than the 'main chains' and came across Mad O'Rourkes. I didnt dissapoint, it was a hotel, a pub, and a great restaurant complete with a Desperate Dan mighty Pie Challenge...lets just say, im glad its not timed as took me the best part of an hour to eat that nearly 2kg pie!!! I was therefore super glad of the extra comfy beds to sleep it off that night!!! The place was also super clean.
No breakfast but was a great stay overnight and wouldn't hesitate to use them again
Good location for my work. Food in the pie factory was fantastic value and really tasty
We came for the Peaky Blinders night at the Black Country Living Museum and we don’t have a car, the location was super close both from the train station and the museum. Would definitely come back!
