Character building.
Lovely breakfast.
Warm and welcoming host who gave us tips on places to visit in the local area.
Norbury House is such a beautiful place to stay, the location has the most stunning views of Ilfracombe and is only about a 15-20 minute walk from the harbour. It also has a beautiful coastal walk just behind through a wooded area which is so peaceful. The rooms are lovely and very clean, the beds are so comfy and the location so peaceful, I had the best 3 nights sleep I've had in a very long time. Adam and Paula are just the most amazing people, so kind and welcoming and very helpful. We loved coming down in the morning for breakfast and having a little chat with them both. The breakfasts were lovely, Paula you are a great cook! We will definitely be staying here again and bringing our children next time.
We really enjoyed staying in Norbury House. It’s a fantastic location to explore all the nearby hikes. Paula and Adam are superb hosts, kind and welcoming. They both had a fantastic knowledge of local area and provided information on local walks. The house is a credit to them - lots of character with great views. Breakfast set us up for the morning- it was delicious. We’ll definitely recommend staying here to our friends.
The location was perfect. Easy to walk into town or drive to some of the local beauty spots .We loved our room, it was very well appointed and gave us privacy too. Our hosts were delightful and gave us some great tips on places to eat locally and places to visit. We would recommend hiring a car as although there is a lot within walking distance there are some beautiful spots that you can find if you have transport.
The freshly cooked breakfasts were also a nice bonus and certainly set us up for the day !
The breckfast was very nice freshly prepared good choice. Room was nice size. Paula Adam were really helpful very relaxed
