This property is *immaculate,* all the time. The location is incredible. Don’t miss the hidden Japanese convenience shop off the side street next to Waitrose, and the Korean one next to it! So much Asian food, and good selection; multiple grocery stores and convenience stores. Right next to the Tube and bus station also.

Beautiful building, close to Underground. Professional staff, clean hostel.

Stayed in a family room (bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top, with a private bathroom). The room was basic, comfortable, and a good value compared to what we had seen in other properties in London. The hostel had all of the amenities we required, and was warm and welcoming. Front desk staff were really sweet and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Probably the best hostel in London, the best I've ever stayed at anyway. A hostel? More like being a guest in a country mansion. The staff are exceptionally helpful, patient and kind. Every element has been thought out - every guest suggestion acted on and improved. The beds have curtains and privacy. Rooms are spacious, not cramped like most London hostels. Every nook and cranny is kept exceptionally clean. The furniture and finishings are quality, luxurious and well maintained. The area itself is great, close to Finchley Road, a walk to Camden and a good neighbourhood in North London. Prices are totally accessible. Many guests return and stay regularly. Palmers Swiss Cottage provides a real service to travellers. If it ever closed down, it would be a true loss to London visitors.

The room is good. The roommates are friendly, and they sleep regularly, no noise at night. I could sleep well at night, and putting some clothes and suitcase with clothes is safe in the room. The bed and blankets are clean, comfortable. The lounge happens to be in maintanance for one day during my four days stay, and they open the space beside the bar.
