Welcoming, friendly lovely staff. Room was delightful and quirky. Good wholesome tasty food. Breakfast was ample and delicious Will definitely be going back .

We were well looked after from arrival to departure,I had told in my online booking that I had a disability and would have problem with stairs.They could not do more to help and gave me the use of one of their parking spaces and a ground floor room. Cozy, charming inn with friendly staff and a great pub for dinner. They make sure to reserve a table for guests as the restaurant can fill up quickly. Very grateful that they have parking right outside as there is little to no street parking in Hawkshead. A wonderful Peter Rabbit gift shop full of all things Beatrix Potter is right around the corner, as is a lovely shop and cafe called HoneyPot. We all enjoyed exploring the town very much.
