First of all, the setting / location of this hotel is incredible. You have to visit there to understand how beautiful it is. We had a room with a view overlooking the large picnic/meal area -- what an amazing setting for anyone to have a pint and a burger. I was worried it would be loud with people staying up drinking late into the night, but there was no issue at all. Additionally, the parking is ample and off-street -- the spaces are a little small but the lot has many spaces. And there is an amazing hike that starts straight out the back of the parking lot. The rooms (we had 2, for a 4 person family) were plenty large, with space to walk around and pretty large bathrooms en suite, especially for England. There was instant coffee in the rooms, plus hairdryer and even an iron + ironing board. We paid for the continental breakfast and it was what you would expect. There was plenty of it, and the dining room shared the same view as the rest of the hotel -- inspiring and lovely.
