I would recommend taking the sea view room, it worth it.
A great place to stay in Lynton. A historic house poised above Lynton. Friendly and welcoming hosts, Ness and Phil. The breakfast choices are many and varied but everyone is delicious. Rooms areas expected in a historic building but they take extra care to assure everything operates flawlessly. Rooms areas expected on several floors but Phil will help with lugging luggage if needed. Lots of walking opportunities.
Gorgeous and characterful hotel in the beautiful little town of Lynton. The owners Phil and Ness are truly wonderful. They make you feel completely at home, relaxed and taken care of. And they have a great sense of humour. I had a migraine when we were there and they made me a bacon sandwich as I couldn’t make breakfast. The next day they enquired how I was and were very empathetic.
Our room was charming, fresh and comfy, with a stunning view over the town and hills beyond.
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with homemade bread and jams and freshly ground coffee.
We would love to come back and explore more and stay here again perhaps with family.

Hosts Ness and Phil are extraordinarily lovely, passionate and take such amazing care of our stay it felt like been home away from home.
It was unusually hot week and we had the room in top floor. They placed a fan for us which is a godsend.
Location is hard to beat, walkable to all attractions in Lynton and Lynmouth. Can’t thank them enough.
You get a choice of hearty and fabulous breakfast options and everything was simply perfect.
I can’t wait to tell my friends and family about this gem!
Very friendly and welcoming host/couple. lovely stay. breakfast cooked by the owner was great, lots of homemade ingredient, definitely something you wont experience in the cities. overall a wholesome experience, very nice trails close to hotel too, highly recommend if you are looking for urban getaways like us.
