The hostel is in a good location, there is on street parking. Its up a short but steep incline. The facilities were clean although the hostel is a bit run down. But good for the price

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very kind! There’s breakfast available and the kitchen is neat and tidy. Access to the city center is quick and easy.

The hostel is pretty clean and I saw cleaners in the bathrooms nearly every day! The beds are pretty comfy, the bunks are little creaky but not excessively. I appreciated the breakfast (cereal and bread provided) along with coffee, tea, and milk. Overall good value for money, especially if you don’t plan on spending a ton of time at the hostel.

Russell Scott Backpackers is a very friendly hostel for anyone looking for something cheaper to stay at. They take their house rules seriously and make sure none of the other people at the hostel will bother you during your rest. Most of their facilities are good, there are multiple bathrooms and you can have your privacy without having to share the room with other people at the same time. You have a smaller but good sortiment for breakfast, and considering it doesn't come with extra charges, it's definitely enough. Most of the equipment is pretty modern and the beds are extremely comfortable, the dorm bed frames are strong and will keep up without having to worry about your or the person below's safety. Personally I enjoyed my stay and felt pretty cozy.
