Slaley Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is an Edwardian mansion house with a modern twist set in 1000 acres of Northumberland countryside, just 24 miles from Newcastle. Beautiful hotel in very picturesque surroundings. Very comfortable and clean room which had lots of room and a big bathroom which had a bath and a shower. There are some nice walks around the golf courses which are really beautiful. The breakfast was good with a very varied selection of hot buffet food along with toast, yogurts, pastries and hot and cold drinks etc The one thing that really made our visit was the dessert! The Biscoff cheesecake was one of the best desserts I have ever eaten and the chocolate fondant was excellent. Next time I would skip the main course and just have two desserts.
Lovely place, rooms a good size and the bars are nice. Pool also very good
It was my daughters 8th birthday and the hotel staff decorated the room with balloons and banners above and beyond
Rooms although not the biggest was very comfortable, with quality fixtures and fittings. We were at a wedding night time reception which was very nice with a lot of thought and attention made in setting up the room. The grounds were beautiful.
Charming building, lovely location, fabulous views from the room, good location, easy parking, friendly staff, very accommodating for a birthday, went above and beyond will definitely be returning.
