The location, which is relatively close to Edinburgh airport, worked out well for us. We were able to return our rental car to the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight. Most importantly, the very reasonable price of $50 a night per room (2 rooms for a total of $100) was very refreshing after paying around $500 a night for the previous 9 nights in locations in Edinburgh and Skye. The rooms were very basic but clean and quiet. The shared bathrooms were not an issue for us - they were clean, always available, and there was plenty of hot water. One room had a small refrigerator; the other one didn't.
