It was quaint and cozy. There are only a few rooms and they are clean and comfortable.
Room as lovely, very old feeling which I like. Shower was hot, but in most rooms we have to use a towel on the floor for the shower. A good Bathroom mat would be good. Bed comfortable, good night's sleep.
The whole atmosphere & welcoming from all staff at all times. My 3rd stay & use as a regular stop when visiting daughter at Uni
When I arrived, the welcome was so warm and made me feel at home. The room was lovely and just what I needed. Dinner was lovely (I had roast lamb - Sunday roast was great). Breakfast was excellent. The staff is excellent. I want to mention Michael particularly as he offered me a lift to my venue on Monday morning when I was struggling to get a taxi. This was much appreciated and a great example of going above and beyond.
Quite room, fresh air, beautiful place, ideal for car travel, lots of iconic places around ( Stonehenge, Bath, etc.)
