Great location, friendly staff, large room in a historic building. Nice pub below with live music on a Friday (finishes by 10pm)
The room size was good and the bathroom was larger than I expected. Everything seemed clean. The location was very good. It was an easy walk to the cathedral, restaurants, coffee shops, and everything we wanted to see in Wells.
It was quiet on a Monday night so there was no noise from the bar downstairs.
City arms has a great location -On the high street, c!one to the cathedral and bus station. The attached pub was not noisy. The room was comfortable and had good wifi.
The room was pleasantly spacious and very clean. We had dinner at the pub on one of our two nights and it was delicious. Nice to have that convenience when you've been driving all day. I would definitely recommend to others.
I stayed with a friend during a brief visit to Wells. The City Arms is in a perfect central location to explore the town on foot. We were a little nervous about noise with the pub downstairs but this was not a problem at all. The room was quiet, very comfortable and we were well looked after.
