My wife & I had a great two nights at the Culpeper. It was really cool to stay above a lively pub and restaurant. The rooms are on the 3rd floor and they were surprisingly quiet for how buzzy the pub and restaurant were down below. The location was great. It’s an easy few minutes walk to the East Aldgate tube station. And the surrounding area has endless options for eating and going out. The included breakfast was tasty and made to order at their sister hotel a short few blocks a way. The staff were all friendly and welcoming even though they were always busy. We like having the coffee and tea supplies in the room.

Incredible character and style. The walls, ceiling, windows, old. The bed, chair, rack, lamps, modern. Even the tea sachets and biscuit jar were high quality choices to appoint the room with. i love a stay with a full length mirror and this place had one of those, with character as well. and too, touch the curtains. heavy, high quality noise and light blocking drapes.

The rooms were quirky and comfortable but also very clean. The staff are especially nice. Only improvement would be for them to serve breakfast on site. At the moment they have a kitchen and dining room but you have to walk down the street to another place for your breakfast.

Every staff member was helpful, friendly, personable and efficient. The value for money was outstanding and set them apart from competitors. The price of the room included a free round of drinks, breakfast and 10 % off food and drink throughout the stay, this really made it stand out, was an unexpected bonus and would definitely make us stay again. The venue itself was buzzing, cute, and perfect for a city break.

Great place and the pub offers drink on arrival. The breakfast was great too! Nice space, looks a bit better in the pictures but overall great value for the money! Comfy bed
