Lovely rural village location. The room was attractively decorated and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Great breakfast selection with lots of gluten free options as requested. The bathroom was excellent with a large bath and fabulous rain shower. Sam was very welcoming and the pub itself, cosy and inviting.

Breakfast items were plentifully provided in each room, where the continental breakfast was self-prepared. A table and two chairs were in each room. Cereals, juice, milk, tea/coffe, fruit, bread, croisants and jams provided. Very enjoyable and relaxing.

Laxton is a wonderful village in Notts and the accommodation at the Dovecote was first-class. We were attending a family get together in a nearby village. The continental breakfast in the room was more than adequate and suited our plans entirely. We will be coming back to explore the village further and partake of a meal in the pub.

Lovely little b&b staff fantastic and very friendly room was great modern very comfortable bed big modern bathroom.Great continental breakfast served in the room with plenty of variety. The evening meal in the restaurant was great the best fish and chips ever would definitely stay again

Lovely cosy rooms in the perfect location to explore the village. Upstairs, just above the info centre! Very clean and tidy.
