Great local community pub. Friendly staff. Great bar with atmosphere. Small menu but great quality for dinner.
Absolutely everything! But the owner was out of this world. A friendly welcome, so accommodating! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
What did I like? Everything. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The landlord and family are wonderful. The village is great and you can tell this place is one of the focal points for the community.
I travelled by bicycle and the valley road from the south is the quietest road I have cycled on in a long time. The hosts offer ebike charging and secure inside storage.
The welcome and attention to detail was excellent. The evening meal and especially the breakfast were above and beyond.
The staff were helpful and frequently checked that everything was okay - but without being intrusive.
From arriving late and our host waiting and helping us to settle in our room to leaving on Sunday morning, everything was perfect.
Firstly the host are welcoming , friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
We had breakfast every morning and the food was unbelievably tasty.
Talking to the regulars In the pub they also recommended the food (We were at a wedding close by so didn't eat apart from Breakfast)
Our room was very clean and tidy, with everything we needed.
