The breakfast was great, and the hotel is so charming (given its history and significance in Eastbourne). Facilities are well maintained and recently refurbished - it is a listed building after all. Would recommend for a short getaway from London!
The hotel is the best along Eastbourne seaside walk, very convenience to get to and explore the area. The Grand Hotel is a grand and classic hotel, but the facility and room are preserved nicely with an air of 1920s-1930s era. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However the double bed was quite small (for my habit). Still a great stay in Eastbourne.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The location, its friendly helpful staff and all the facilities. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range to choose from. The large and heated outdoor swimming pool is superb. The building is most elegant and as the name suggests grand in an interesting and historic way.
