Staff friendly, helpful and responsive. Clean room and clean sheets, towels.
The Inn-pub has an interesting history we didn’t learn about until we got there. They should advertise that it’s the third oldest inn in England.
Everything about it. The very old building, the pristine room and the food. We had the sea bass option on the evening menu which was exceptional. The piece of fish was hug, well-prepared and was set on 4-5 different vegetables, also perfectly cooked. I think there were mashed potatoes as well. This was all for £18. It took longer to prepare but the results were spectacular.
I am a huge fan of historic bed and breakfasts and, as this one was built in 1106, it is beautifully historic. The owners do a good job of highlighting that history. Wonderful food, beautifully restored, helpful staff. Very close to Heathrow without any airport noise. Also, very close to Windsor Castle, Eton College, and Ascot racecourse.
We come here for one day every year when we first arrive in UK. It's such a wonderful inn. The food was fabulous, the pub was lively. And our room was extremely comfortable!
Excellent location for the airport run. Surprised the noise was not an issue
