It is an old Inn located in a beautiful region. We made small excursions to Bodium Castle, Great Dixter House and Gardens, and smaller villages and their churches nearby. The Pub in the hotel was warm and inviting. Harry Cox and his staff went above and beyond for us. We enjoyed generous meals, fun entertainment, and cozy atmosphere!
Room very good size, friendly and helpful staff. Tea and coffee supplies very good. Could get a jug of fresh milk from the bar.
The location is great, staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. Also, they were happy to accommodate for our cat Chester who appeared very popular!
Location is convenient for visiting family. Food in the pub is very good.
The team at the Royal Oak were fantastic. They made me feel really looked-after and welcome in Hawkhurst. Harry was my hero in helping me get to the wedding i was attending nearby. A genuinely lovely stay!
