Everything. Our room was excellent, spacious and very comfortable with a large bathroom and walk in shower. The bar area was cozy and staff very welcoming.
The evening meal was a Sunday lunch menu with plenty options. The quality of the food was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
The staff were very helpful with our needs on a personal matter and could not have been more understanding and compassionate.
The pub was beautiful and the host and staff were so helpful. Food was very good.

Stunning pub in the middle of stunning countryside in the heart of Northumberland. Met by friendly staff and a friendly owner. Sat by the log fire had a lovely meal and and a few drinks then retired to the stunning suite with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in anywhere I have stayed. The breakfast was more than enough to see us through to tea time. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
