The location in middle of village, convenient to buses north and south. The well prepared, delicious food.
Very friendly, helpful, welcoming people- Megan & Mike. A heated towel rail in bathroom to assist drying clothes - fabulous esp after our wet walk
The welcome from the hosts. Very accommodating for our needs (we had bikes).
The location along King Alfred’s Way was perfect. Great atmosphere in the pub along with great food. The tip in the morning to follow the old rail line before heading uptown the Ridge.
Bar was nice, room was comfortable, people were fantastic!
Lovely people, lovely place. Helpful, friendly, and know about the area. Nice pint and best food we had on the Ridgeway (including vegetarian).
