Lovely big old pub, directly opposite Waterloo station (exit 2 Waterloo road) perfect for night out, access to underground etc. breakfast was lovely. Staff really friendly. Our room was clean, nice shower, and they provide nice range of tea/coffee etc. Easy access with keycard when the pub is shut and you get back very late! You get a discount at the pub too if you are a staying guest. Will stay there again when out in London/concerts etc.

Nice basic room, even a fridge with water, beer, and snacks! Coffee and hot pot, and a nice fan to help cool the room. Good view of the station. Great staff, and a fantastic free breakfast in a historic hotel/pub.

The hotel is perfectly located outside Waterloo Station. It's a lovely old pub and the staff were super. The room itself was adequate, proper lighting and storage space: the bathroom was updated, lots of nice towels. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and poached eggs were perfect. Great Italian restaurant around the corner.

Friendly staff, great breakfast. I expected much worse from a hotel located right next to the train lines - but the room was quiet and quite comfortable despite its size. The location is great, too

Best breakfast I've had on a hotel stay in England. Also the paintings on the ceiling in the breakfast room of the battle at Waterloo were mesmerising Comfy bed, nice toiletries, towels and sheets. Bar fridge with free beers, Pepsi, soda waters. Good coffee and herbal teas in the room. Nice hot shower. Double glazed windows. Can't hear trains at night. Location fabulous. Near London eye and Waterloo train station.
