The entire property was beautiful and charming. The bar and restaurant are lovely, and being just across the street from the rooms it makes it very convenient to have a bite or a pint before going back to your room. The rooms were very recently redone, and are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The following day I wanted to walk on the public footpaths before breakfast and the server in the restaurant very kindly provided me with a map and directions for a long circle that would not take me all the way into the next town, but give me a good, scenic walk. By the time I returned from my stroll through the woods and cow pastures my family was downstairs for breakfast and we all enjoyed the full English breakfast, which was very good. I wish we could have stayed longer at this particular spot, it was absolutely lovely.
