Beautiful historic suite in a beautiful historic location, but with great modern amenities, and helpful attentive staff. We went there for our anniversary, and loved it, and would recommend it to anyone. We stayed in the Armory suite, and we loved the busts of the alchemists, the pictures of the kings of Scotland, and the steel plate armour helmets you can pick up. Not sure they are really historic though :) The restaurant is great too if you can get a reservation, but be sure to reserve early or you will miss out...
Amazing historic building, suites, dining, and staff. Top notch. The nicest and most interesting hotel we have ever seen.
It’s amazing to stay in a turret right next to the castle. I felt like a princess! And how lovely to have breakfast brought up in a basket!
The accommodation was spectacular. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and luxurious.
I absolutely loved our stay at The Witchery. Everything was just perfect, from the room, restaurant, and staff. I look forward to visiting Edinburgh again, and will definitely stay at The Witchery again.
