There were a lot of choices for breakfast and they was plenty on offer, and well presented, it set up the day.

Fantastic dining for dinner and the best accompanying breakfast we have had. The staff works hard and was lovely.

The rooms were super comfy and clean. The food was excellent and the staff were great.

The hotel is a lovely small hotel, with only 5 bedrooms. Location wise we found it was ideal for attending a event at Rainton Meadows Arena. To access the hotel after hours, there is a private entrance, which was ideal. The staff were all very friendly, the room exceeded our expectations and was extremely good value for money. Our room was beautifully decorated and nicely furnished and very clean, with good quality bedding. Kettle and Tea/coffee tray provided, cans of still water were a good touch. There was a fan with a remote control in the room. Toiletries were provided. The blinds and curtains kept the light out really well. The room was very quiet and although on the road through Leamside we didn't hear any traffic. We would definitely recommend this little gem of a hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was gorgeous. 😋

Simply amazing gastro pub which we were so lucky to find here in booking.com. The owner had this place in mint condition and it is so elegant and yet so friendly with the most professional and kind staff. Really one of the best dinners, nights rest, and breakfast we've ever had and we've been traveling for many years. I was flabbergasted at how remarkable everything was. You'll swear you're in a 4* hotel but I'll bet you'll think this place is even better than that! We're so grateful. Thank you so much to the owner, Daryl, the Greek chef, Stathis, Morris, Alfie and all the wonderful women we met and talked with. What a wonderful memory you've given us.
