Breakfast was excellent, a full English. Wife would've preferred a choice of cereals
Excellent accomodation, staff really helpful, food amazing.
Excellent location, excellent staff, comfortable beds, very nicely done rooms and delicious breakfast. It was great to finally stay over after visiting the pub a few times.
Accommodation was in a separate building which worked well as it was isolated from the pub so it was shielded from the entertainment on the Saturday night which went on until late but we were undisturbed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening after arrival and enjoyed a very nice meal and some good wine. Interesting range of options for breakfast. We opted for the full breakfast butty and beans on wholemeal toast (vegetarian option) which were both really good and excellent value. Good range of coffee and attentive staff. We were joined by friends for breakfast and stayed the morning at the pub for a really enjoyable start to the day. It was Garden Festival weekend so lots happening and you became aware of the real community spirit that exists in the village. We popped to Skipton early afternoon and had a late afternoon tea on the steam train at Embsay - another worthwhile venture!
Comfortable, clean and welcoming. Very friendly staff and great food.
