Perched on a hill overlooking Windermere town center is the Windermere Hotel. Built in 1847 the hotel offers rooms with private bathrooms, and a restaurant. Many rooms offer countryside views or of the town center. All feature TVs, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities, while free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Enjoy a drink from the modern Piano Lounge Bar on the outdoor patio overlooking the quiet gardens. The Boardroom offers a TV, board games and cards. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and serves English cuisine. The many fantastic cafes and restaurants in Windermere are just a short walk from the hotel.

Stayed a few times here always a nice stay, staff excellent, good location for walking. We didn't take our dog this time as a bit old now for walking so got a different room which was nice and bigger than last time.
The bathroom was lovely, lots of hot water and fresh towels
The hotel itself is amazing, good location to the train station, very friendly staff leaving our luggage when we arrived early in the morning, very good breakfast buffet the next morning and left our luggage again to spend the rest of the day until we got the train home, fabulous time will come back again.
Come here at least twice a year can never fault it for the price
A nice Hotel , comfortable bed . Decent Breakfast . I am sure that's all we need and yes that's what they delivered. Don't expect things beyond that.
