Good location for what I needed for 2 nights.
The ground floor hall way was under some flooring construction but not too inconvenient. Some of the flooring was not secure although you could walk on it. (I'm sure it is fixed now..) The front desk help was very helpful checking in and checking out.
As a former "Detroiter" I was familiar with the surrounding area of 8 mile and Meyers, and know that over many years, many things have changed, as in most major city metro areas everywhere in the U.S.
