Anchorage Inn Rochester, Рочестер, Соединенные Штаты Америки

This is where I stay when I come up for monthly meetings. I 'could' stay in Portsmouth but I don't like driving that town. (or paying those prices!!) This little motel is older, and not a five star resort. I was not looking for that. Every time I stay I am greeting with a smile, get a room with a comfortable bed and rarely hear the neighbors. The flowers around the place are lovely and I snuck a peek at the pool/sitting area and it looked nice. (too much work to do so didn't visit it) I leave before breakfast so can't speak to that. It's true that the property is a bit worn, they seem to be working on that but it takes time. But the beds have always been comfortable, AC (or heat in winter) worked good. Hot water...and every room has a microwave and dorm size fridge/freezer.

Traveled up for work meeting...left too early for breakfast. When I arrived the employee who was in charge of FD also was cleaning rooms. She greeted me warmly, got me checked in and gave me a room with a King bed. The Inn is older...and it shows in places. A bit worn in the furnishings. BUT every thing was super clean and it was quiet. I did hear people arriving, that couldn't be helped. But at night it was blissfully silent. The water temp in the bath was hot. The bed/sheets were lovely, I slept well.
