The location was convenient to get around, lots of restaurants near-by, the staff was courteous, the bedding was comfortable and the hotel was updated.
The room is very thoughtfully designed and comfortable. Very updated furniture and bathroom design. Very nice looking gym, although I didn't have time to use it.
Location was central to everything and everyone we were visiting in Ames.
I stay in Ames often, and the Courtyard is my favorite place to stay. However, I normally do not stay on game weekends because the price is so inflated...but this is true for all Ames hotels.
