Very walkable to city center and also restaurants and bars by the hotel
East Austin is a Jem simple fresh cute little hotel in the city. I will definitely be returning. There was a big loud pool party when I arrived but mellowed out after 6. Loved the vibe here and beds were very comfortable, towels and robes 10/10.
The location was great and the hotel was very cute. It felt like an upscaled 70s motel but in a good way. The pool was very nice and clean.
Great location, big room, walk and bike to everything. Pool is a benefit, and awesome drinks by the staff. I would definitely want to stay again.
Excellent location to experience the vibrant East Austin street life--and close enough to walk just about everywhere else. Comfortable room and spacious bathroom, nice pool and rooftop bar. Fantastic restaurants, bars, and music venues of all types nearby.
